I am in the process of creating trainings and workshops that will explore themes like body image, eating disorders, and holistic healing practices. I hope to bring both in-person and virtual experiences designed to nourish personal and professional growth. Stay tuned for dates and registration details!
Rooted in feminist theory, holistic healing, and social justice—I bring a dynamic and heart-centered approach to speaking, training, and group facilitation. Whether I’m discussing eating disorders or how to integrate Reiki into psychotherapy, my trainings are rooted in social justice, inclusivity, and the belief that healing is both individual and collective.
As a speaker and educator, I aim to challenge outdated narratives in the mental health field by offering inclusive, experiential learning rooted in compassion, embodiment, and practical skill-building. renewed connection to their own wisdom. My intention—whether at a conference, leading a workshop, or while facilitating a healing space—is always to foster liberation, learning, and deep reconnection.
Offerings may include group Reiki sessions, guided meditations, trauma-informed yoga, healing circles, and immersive experiences like sandtray or expressive arts rituals—often around the full calendar—invite deep reflection. I tailor every experience to meet the unique needs of your group—bringing warmth, critical insight, and grounded tools that participants can integrate into their work and lives.
Prices for speaking engagements or events are determined on a case-by-case basis but typically start at $450 for the first 2 hours, with an additional charge of $100 for each consecutive hour. Advocacy and inclusivity are central values of BBH, depending on the nature of the event—particularly those that support local communities or women’s initiatives—don't hesitate to reach out to discuss reduced rates for my time.
I understand the unique challenges women face when dealing with anxiety and perfectionism. The overwhelming pressure to meet societal standards can be suffocating. The high expectations we place on ourselves, experiencing stress, and challenges with reigning in our brains from going to the worst case scenario. Our work together will center on empowering you to rewrite the narratives of self-doubt and replace them with affirming beliefs that honor your worthiness.
Learning to accept your body and build a more health relationship with food can be really effing hard. Every
woman deserves to feel confident and empowered in her own skin. Our bodies change over time - through adulthood, pregnancy, aging, and that's normal. Our work together is navigating the struggles that come with feeling trapped in a cycle of negative thoughts and behaviors, and reclaim your authentic beauty.
Let's be real...relationships aren't easy. They take intention, communication, and doing small things often. In couples therapy, you'll be guided through meaningful conversations to better understand the barriers that prevent you from feeling close. We'll dive into processing past unhealed injuries and learn new ways of communicating and showing love. You'll develop skills to deepen your intimacy and manage conflict more effectively.
Sometimes traumatic events and distressing life experiences can cause thoughts, beliefs, images, emotions, and physical sensations to persist long after the threat has passed. It can keep us from having the mental space for other things. I utilize
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence-based treatment for trauma and other mental health symptoms like anxiety, depression, and grief/loss. Rather than focus on changing the thoughts or behaviors resulting from the distressing event, EMDR allows your brain to resume its natural healing process & resolve unprocessed memories.
The sandtray is a *literal* blank canvas. It allows you to access your unconscious and bring it forward into the here-and-now so we can process it in session. The miniatures and figurines help to represent what's going on in your inner world. By utilizing sandtray and other expressive activities (art, music, games, etc.), we can create the landscapes of our internal experience and allow space for our *little us* to come out and play. This creates a healthy distance so we can process difficult experiences and cultivate empowerment so you can start to heal.
