Trauma and emotional wounds often disconnect us from our bodies, leading us to suppress our feelings as a form of protection (aka stuffing them down). I get it, big feelings can be overwhelming to sit with. I'm here to guide you in rediscovering and reconnecting with the parts of you that have been tucked away, helping you feel more whole and integrated. I'm here to empower you as you release what no longer serves you.

I’ve been told in session that I’m like the spunky Blue Caterpillar (fun fact: I'm obsessed with Alice in Wonderland) –direct, curious, and always asking the right questions. While we may not end up in Wonderland...we’ll definitely venture down the rabbit hole together. I’m here to hold space, where you can feel fully accepted and supported as we walk your unique path of self-discovery.
I consider myself just the right balance of “woo woo” and realism. I bring warmth, humor, and a no-BS approach to therapy. Every person is worthy and deserving of reaching their fullest potential —including you. As both a therapist and holistic healer, my goal is to help you bring your unconscious to the surface, so you can gain a deeper understanding of yourself and start building the life you want.
Our thoughts hold a lot of power. Negative self talk, imposter syndrome, and unrealistic perfectionistic tendencies can leave you feeling inadequate and fearful of fulfilling your dreams. The loud inner critic, self-doubt, and lack of self-trust can interfere with accessing your authentic self. It leaves little room for the things you love - your confidence, friendships, and your relationship… all of them are impacted by the narrative in your brain. You can take your back power and build the life you want.
In our work together, my goal is to help you understand what's keeping you stuck and equip you with strategies to build trust and confidence in yourself. Therapy can be a transformative process that challenges you to grow, and while it’s not always easy, it allows space to connect with your true self and align with your values. My commitment is to provide a balance of support while challenging you to make positive and sustainable changes.

I feel safe/secure in my therapy/client relationship with Ametis. I have been In therapy more than 10 yrs and last 3 yrs with Ametis, I have made more progress in my mental/emotional health. Ametis, you are a God-send.
We love Ametis. She is exactly the person we needed to help manage our situation. With her help and guidance, we truly feel stronger as a couple. She has been a blessing, especially through the craziness the epidemic has thrown at us.
Sessions are going very well with Ametis. I like her ability to create a comfortable and open environment. She is a great conversation starter, and it’s easy to express ourselves about anything. Ametis is very welcoming and a great listener.
Ametis always summarizes what I’m saying to make sure she understands me and it makes me feel like she really is listening and cares. I have processed trauma from my childhood and am improving with trust in my relationship.
The sessions were rough at first, but Ametis was able to get us taking and comfortable with each other. We’ve gained better communication skills and aren’t holding in emotions anymore.
Ametis was incredibly warm and able to build rapport quickly with both me and my husband.
The evil eye has been found in history for thousands of years across cultures. The eye is used to ward off to negative energy and ill-will.
Anyone can wear the evil eye for protection, regardless of spiritual affiliation. It serves as a reminder that you are loved and protected in all areas of life.
